The pasta provided in Kraft Macaroni & Cheese packages cooks in about 12 minutes in the microwave on high, stirring every 5 minutes. Use a 2-quart bowl or casserole dish to hold the noodles and the water, and leave it uncovered while it cooks. Microwave at full power for 1 minute. Remove mug and stir macaroni, making sure to loosen any macaroni that may be stuck to the bottom of the mug. Microwave for an additional 1 minute and stir again. Our cooking times are based on an 1100 watt microwave oven. As microwave ovens vary, cooking times may need to be adjusted. If a lower wattage microwave is used, the cooking time may need to be increased. If additional time is added, it is important to watch the product while it is cooking. If the product starts to bubble, stop it at that time as that would be a good indication that the product is hot enough. Ensure product reaches an internal temperature of 165° F.

Lean Cuisine trays are not designed for oven use and will melt if they are exposed to high temperatures. For best results, follow the cooking instructions on your Lean Cuisine packaging. All Lean Cuisine dishes are optimized for microwave cooking.
Lean Cuisine does not add MSG to any of our dishes. But, some of our ingredients contain 'free' glutamates that naturally occur in tomatoes, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, yeast extracts and hydrolyzed vegetable protein.
Lean Cuisine does offer a variety of gluten free entrees, but not all our dishes are gluten free. Make sure to look for the gluten free stamp on your package to ensure that you've chosen an entrée that fits your dietary restricitions.
